Amal Ismail

Research Associate

Amal Ismail is working as an Environmental and Renewable Energy Specialist at the New & Renewable Energy Authority (NREA), Egypt. And participated as a part-time senior researcher in the Economic and Energy Studies Unit at the Egyptian Center for Strategic Studies (ECSS). She was awarded the second place and the silver medal from the Cairo International Innovation Exhibition, 2019, for my scientific research about enhancing the efficiency of the alcohol fuel cell as a renewable source of energy. She was certified as a Climate Ambassador at the initiative of Climate Ambassadors," presented by the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation. Mar 2022. One of the national young experts participated in the “National Egyptian Dialogue” at the Economic Pillar. Member of the Organization Committee & Content Editor for the Environmental Pillar Sessions at the World Youth Forum (WYF), 2017-2018-2019-2021. Also, she participated as a free writer at the Egyptian Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center, the “Think Thank in Brief" English newsletter, and the "Al Masry Alyme" Egyptian Journal in the fields of sustainable development. Participated in many national and international conferences and forums related to the environment, energy transition, climate change, and green economy.
