In the face of escalating climate and environmental crises, research in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) is more essential than ever. These disciplines offer powerful tools to explore the human dimensions of environmental and climate change – our values, cultures, politics, histories, health, communications, geographies, policies, and institutions.

At Monash Arts, our researchers are:

  • Bridging knowledge systems and promoting creative public engagement

Monash Arts is offering up to five (5) PhD scholarships to outstanding applicants committed to advancing research in the field of climate and/or environmental change. These scholarships will support research aligned with cutting-edge projects currently underway at the university.
