The Arab Water Council (AWC) is pleased to invite applications for the Online Mediterranean Training to Mobilize GCF Support for Water–Energy–Food–Ecosystems (WEFE) Projects, taking place from 1 October to 5 November 2025, with an additional week allocated for proposal submission. This fully funded, five-week online training is organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and Arab Water Council (AWC), funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), and supported by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
This dynamic training program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop high-quality, GCF-ready project proposals addressing the integrated WEFE Nexus challenges.

Eligibility & Team Composition
National teams of 2–3 participants representing at least two WEFE sectors (Water, Energy, Food, Ecosystems)
Mid-career professionals with 5+ years of experience in at least two WEFE sectors
Proven experience in project development, proposal writing, or project management
Fluency in English and full availability during the training period
Open to applicants from GCF-eligible Mediterranean countries and other interested GCF-eligible nations (Full list available in the Call Document)
