Sabha Elsayed

Research Fellow

Sabha Elsayed Elballat is an assistant professor at zoology department, Faculty of Science, Zagazig University, Egypt. She successfully completed her doctoral degree in cytogenetics and physiology at Zagazig University in Egypt in 2014. Elballat's research interests primarily revolve around the cellular toxicity of different agents, such as the most commonly used drugs, radiation, foods, and environmental factors on the chromosomal structure and number. In addition, her research encompasses the measurement of the sperm's abnormalities and their effects on fertility and developing embryos. She is also focused on the prevention or at least ameliorating the genotoxicity by using ideal natural antioxidants such as herbs and natural products. Elballat has authored numerous articles that have been published in both international and national peer-reviewed journals, as well as in the proceeding of scientific conferences.
