أستاذ دكتور مازن محمد بركات باحث أول وأستاذ دكتور التنمية الريفية وعلم الاجتماع، رئيس قسم علم الاجتماع الريفي، كلية الزراعة، جامعة عين شمس، وأستاذ بكلية الزراعة العضوية، جامعة هليوبوليس.

يحمل الدكتور مازن شهادة الدكتوراه في علم الاجتماع الريفي، ودرس التنمية الريفية والتنمية البشرية في جامعة عين شمس، القاهرة، مصر.

يرأس فريق الدراسات الاجتماعية في جامعة هليوبوليس ومركز سيكم.
